Instructions

Preheat the Air Fryer:

Prepare the Beef:

  • In a bowl, break the ground beef into small pieces.
  • Mix in garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper, ensuring the spices coat the beef evenly.

Prepare the Basket:

  • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil to prevent sticking.

Cook the Beef:

  • Spread the seasoned ground beef evenly in the basket, ensuring it isn’t overcrowded.
  • Cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring or shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.

Check Doneness:

  • Use a food thermometer to confirm the beef has reached an internal temperature of 160°F.

  • Carefully drain any fat from the basket to avoid greasy results.

Serve or Store:

  • Use the crumbles immediately in tacos, pasta, or salads.
  • Alternatively, let the beef cool and store in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the refrigerator.

Notes

  • Use leaner beef (90%) for less fat and grease or 80% beef for a juicier texture.
  • For variety, try adding chili powder or cumin for a Tex-Mex flavor.
  • Always drain fat safely to avoid any burns or spills.
