Ingredients

  • 1 cup full-fat cottage cheese small curd
  • ¼ tsp salt optional
  • ½ tsp garlic powder optional
  • ¼ tsp smoked paprika optional
  • Parchment paper

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) or your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet or air fryer basket with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  3. Mix the cottage cheese with salt, garlic powder, and smoked paprika (or your favorite seasonings).
  4. Scoop small spoonfuls (about 1–1.5 teaspoons each) onto the parchment, spacing them 1 inch apart.
  5. Flatten each scoop gently with the back of a spoon into coin-sized circles.
  6. Bake in the oven for 25–35 minutes until the edges are golden and the center is set. In the air fryer, cook in batches for 12–15 minutes.
  7. Cool completely before peeling off the parchment. They crisp up as they cool.

Notes

  • Use full-fat and small-curd cottage cheese for the best crispiness and flavor.
  • If your cottage cheese is watery, drain off some of the liquid before scooping.
  • Let the chips cool fully before storing—this helps them stay crisp.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temp for 1–2 days, or re-crisp in a toaster oven if needed.
