Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs small potatoes cut into ½-inch cubes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon thyme fresh or dried
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt to taste

Method

  1. Wash and scrub the potatoes. Cut them into even ½-inch cubes.
  2. Soak the potato cubes in cold water for about 10 minutes to remove extra starch.
  3. Drain and pat the cubes completely dry using a clean kitchen towel.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F.
  5. In a large bowl, toss the cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, thyme, lemon juice, and salt.
  6. Spread the seasoned potatoes in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  7. Cook for 20-25 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even browning.
  8. Once golden and crisp, remove from the air fryer and serve hot.

Notes

• Make sure potatoes are completely dry before cooking for the best crunch.
• You can swap thyme for other herbs like rosemary or paprika for extra flavor.
• Shaking the basket halfway helps brown everything evenly.
