Ingredients
  

  • 1 bag 16 ounces frozen pierogies
  • 1 pound sliced kielbasa or smoked sausage
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 1-2 cups chicken broth

Method
 

  1. Prep the ingredients: Cut the kielbasa into small pieces and slice the green onions.
Layer the ingredients in the crockpot:
  1. Place a layer of frozen pierogies on the bottom.
  2. Add a layer of the sliced kielbasa.
  3. Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded cheddar cheese.
  4. Add spoonfuls of softened cream cheese.
  5. Pour over the chicken broth.
  6. Finish with sliced green onions.
  7. Cook: Cover and set the crockpot to low. Cook for 3 to 4 hours until the pierogies are tender and all the cheese is melted into a creamy sauce.
  8. Serve: Garnish with additional green onions or fresh herbs such as parsley before serving.
