Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup strong brewed black tea chilled or warm
  • ½ cup fresh orange juice
  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • 1 tsp honey adjust to taste
  • ½ tsp freshly grated ginger
  • Ice cubes optional
  • Mint sprigs or orange peel twist for garnish optional

Instructions
 

Brew the Tea:

  • Steep your favorite black tea bag (or loose-leaf) in hot water for 3-5 minutes. Let it cool or chill if desired.

Prep the Ingredients:

  • Juice a fresh orange to yield about ½ cup of juice.
  • Zest the orange and grate the ginger.

Combine the Ingredients:

  • In a shaker or bowl, mix together the brewed tea, fresh orange juice, orange zest, honey, and ginger.
  • Stir or shake until well combined.

Serve the Shot:

  • Strain the mixture into shot glasses or small glasses over ice cubes (optional).
  • Garnish with a mint sprig or twisted orange peel if desired.
