  • 2 ripe mangoes peeled and diced
  • 1-2 jalapeños finely chopped, seeds removed for less heat
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro chopped
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Salt to taste
  • Tortilla chips for serving

Method
 

  1. Prepare the Mangoes: Peel the mangoes, remove the pit, and dice them into small cubes.
  2. Chop Jalapeños: Finely chop the jalapeños. Adjust the heat by using one or two, and removing or keeping the seeds.
  3. Mix: In a bowl, combine the diced mangoes and jalapeños.
  4. Add Cilantro and Lime: Stir in the chopped cilantro and squeeze fresh lime juice over the salsa.
  5. Season: Add a pinch of salt to enhance the flavors.
  6. Serve: Enjoy immediately with crunchy tortilla chips!

Notes

  • You can make this salsa ahead of time and refrigerate it for up to 3 days. Just stir before serving.
  • Adjust the spice by adding more or less jalapeño, or experiment with other peppers like habanero for extra heat.
